Fall 2013 semester

This last semester has been a doozy! I'm one semester closer to graduation though, and one more to go. The race car game I worked on last semester as a concept artist officially has a name, Furiously Fast Racing, and is on it's way to being a full fledged android game.

I've focused a lot more this semester on animation which is my main goal in life. Needless to say I've enjoyed this semester a whole lot more because of it. I've been working as an animator for a short film called Trustafarian in one of my classes and we're going to extend it into another class to fine tune all the details. So far it's looking pretty good, and I've been tasked with making a logger character lick a chainsaw. It might make more sense once we're finished with it. I also continued with some figure drawing and I tried a little acting in my theater class. I've got a minor case of stage fright as it turns out, but this class helped me out a lot. I also did a little more 3D modeling, not my strong suit but I have to say I did a whole lot better in character modeling this year. My favorite part of the semester as a whole was working on a little five second animation for advanced character modeling, I took a soundbite from Toy Story and here's the result:

I'm pretty proud of it :)
